Archives & Digital Libraries
- Internet Archive - has millions of public domain books, and there's also Open Library, a project of Internet Archive, they have a bunch of borrowable books that are more "recent", I find a lot of 50s/60s/70s YA & childrens books here. Borrowable with a free account.
For specific collections on Internet Archive I recommend...
- UCLA Children's Book Collection (large collection of antique childrens books)

- Baldwin Library of Historical Children's Literature, a collection from The University of Florida (they have subcollection of Early English & British Children's Literature, Alice in Wonderland, and Grimms Fairy Tales)
